As of 21 May 2010, homes which are put on the market for sale will no longer require a HIP.
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) will still be required however. It is the responsibility of the Seller to commission the EPC prior to any marketing of their property, although marketing may commence before the EPC is received.
Any home which was marketed up and including 20 May 2010 will still require a HIP. Please call us on 01285 771067 if you have any questions.
